Advent Vega Tablet To Go On Sale November 1st?

Electricpig is reporting that the Advent Vega Tablet will go on sale November 1st for £250 (about $399).  Normally, we do not report on tablets released in other countries but this tablet has peaked our interest.  So what does $399 buy?  The 10" Advent Vega runs Android 2.2 with a 1GHz Tegra 2 processor.  It has front facing camera, HDMI output, USB dock and microSD slot.  The company claims battery life of 10 hours.

The tablet does not have 3G connectivity, which is not major.  The company is considering introducing a 3G version next year.  Based on the video shown at Electricpig, it looks impressive.  For now, only 2 online retailers will sell this tablet: PC World & Currys which apparently do not ship to the US.  Hopefully, it will come to the US.
