Another day, another manufacturer launches a tablet. This time, CTL has launched a 10" tablet running Microsoft Windows 7. The 2goPad SL10 features a multi-touch capacitive screen running an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor with 2GB of memory, front facing VGA camera, accelerometer and a 250GB hard drive. Currently on sale for $499 through CTL's website.
It runs all Windows compatible software which CTL claims is an advantage versus installing "apps". Also, CTL claims "Unlike other tablets on the market, the SL10 2goPad is a real PC with the capability to run all your favorite programs." Ouch a stab at Google & Apple?? It does run Flash and HTML 5 websites.
The SL10 comes with 2 USB ports. Since it runs Windows 7, one can easily use a USB mobile from one of the wireless carriers. This is an advantage over Android or Apple tablets.
Videos show that it is a little sluggish - due to the Atom processor.
Who is CTL? Computer Link Technology (CTL) was founded in 1989 and design and manufacture computer products such as desktop and mobile workstations, LED monitors and high performance servers.
Is this a tablet you would be interested in??
