Toshiba Thrive Tablet Launching in July

Toshiba is another major consumer electronic company that is launching an Android tablet.  Although for a while it was a nameless tablet, Toshiba has confirmed that "Thrive" will be its name.  J&R Music's website did leak some details on this tablet last month.  Now, Toshiba has confirmed the specs and the price.  There will be three versions of the 10.1" tablet:

• 8GB - $429
• 16GB - $479
• 32GB - $579

 Like most Android tablets being released, the Thrive will sport a Tegra 2 dual core processor, Android Honeycomb (3.1), dual cameras (2MP front & 5MP rear), HDMI port, WiFi and Bluetooth.  Unlike most tablets, the Thrive will also feature a full size USB port.  Should be launching in mid-July although you can preorder starting June 23th at most major retailers.
