Archos Launching Kid-Friendly Tablet

We all know kids love tablets too.  With many games available, tablets have been keeping kids entertained.  However, parents do get afraid that their little one will drop their $400 - $600 device.  Worry no more, parents.  Archos will have you covered.  They are introducing a kid-specific Android tablet for less than $200.  What to know more, read on...

Archos is launching their Child Pad (how original) tablet.  Unlike some cheap Chinese tablet, this one has some decent specs.  The Child Pad will have:
  • Modified Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
  • 1GHz processor (no details yet on the exact specs of the processor)
  • 1GB RAM
  • 7" screen
  • 28 pre-loaded apps including Angry Birds
  • $129 price tag
The Child Pad will include an AppsLib-powered Kids App Store, which contain child suitable apps broken into various categories.  In addition, parents will not need to fear kids accessing the Internet as the web browser will have the Mobile Parental Filter powered by Editions Profil.  Archos is known for building decent tablets at reasonable costs.  We believe this may be a successful product.  The Child Pad should launch  later this month.

  1. The particular archos android tablet opens for the plethora regarding pay out as well as free applications located in the Android os range. The downer is that despite the Eight hundred 70 screen resolution, not enough Home as well as Back components sets that beyond your list of appropriate products to the Android mobile phone (One particular.5)

  2. If you want to buy a new tablet I strongly recommend you buy a kindle fire hd. Because, it's very cheap and the performance is very powerful when compare with any expensive tablet like iPad, Nexus. Moreover, Amazon often give some kindle fire hd deals which help you buy this tablet even cheaper.
